AI tools that take the slow, manual work off small businesses.
Banyan Foundry builds and tests practical AI tools for owner-run businesses in Southeast Asia. We start with one costly, boring task, build a tool for it, and test it with real firms before we build more.
One problem at a time, tested with real businesses
- Step 1
Find a costly task
We look for work that owners do by hand every week and that costs them cash or time.
- Step 2
Build a small tool
We build the smallest tool that removes that task. It runs on the systems you already use.
- Step 3
Pilot with a few firms
We test it with a small group of businesses and measure the result in money and hours.
- Step 4
Keep what works
If a tool does not help, we stop it. If it helps, we make it a product.

John Chan
John works in credit and fraud risk at a regional digital lender in Singapore. For more than five years he has run consumer loan portfolios across Southeast Asia and Latin America, from underwriting and anti-fraud to collections.
Before that, he built the first credit scorecard and data warehouse at FundPark, a Hong Kong lender to small businesses. He started Banyan Foundry to turn that experience into small AI tools that help owner-run businesses get paid and save time.
You talk directly to the person who builds the tool. There is no sales team between us.
